Within Living Memory FA24: Final Project

"How Precious"
by Everett Murphree Bryson

A love letter (of sorts) to my late father. I miss him. The first picture is of him holding me as a child and the second is of him as a child in the ocean. Both are mentioned in the piece. My inclusion of him in the ocean alludes to the concept of “We all come from the sea, and someday we go back” that was in my bay archive project.
I hope that by listening to this piece, you can keep the memory of my dad, David, alive.

"Glimmer" by Everett Murphree Bryson

A collection of found sounds from around campus. I had the song Psycho by Jack Kittel stuck in my head for weeks and released those earworms into this piece at the beginning.
